If you are like me, and have environmental allergens (for me, dust/dust mites, pet dander, mountain cedar, MANY grasses, etc), then simply living in the world can trigger an eczema flare — or asthma attack, sneezing fit, or all 3!

While it’s not possible to completely eliminate these, there are things you can do to minimize your exposure and their ability to affect you.

Things to consider:

*an air purifier for every room — this is the one that I have in every room (including my office at work): Levoit – it’s competitively priced, works great and matches a minimalist/modern decor.

*allergy covers for you bed and pillows (wash linens frequently and NEVER put soiled/outside clothes or items on the bed). This is the bed cover that I recommend because it covers all 6 sides of the mattress and is breathable and noiseless, but you should buy what’s best for you (obviously, make sure anything you get fits the size, depth/dimensions of your particular mattress) — anything is better than nothing. Here are the pillow covers that I recommend for the same reasons.
