I practiced the “paleo diet” for 1-2 years in my 30’s. I may also write a post, but the take away, for me, was that it ABSOLUTELY has a positive effect on my general health to limit my intake of dairy and processed foods.

That said, the marginal benefit between 80% paleo and 100% paleo may or may not be worth the extra time, stress and obsession necessary (or perhaps even realistic to sustain?).

However, everyone’s life circumstances are different — including my own at different times in my life.
